Musician Tim Blane to perform May 2 at Trabant
3:16 p.m., April 26, 2007--Tim Blane will perform as part of the Trabant Music Series from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, in the Food Court of the Trabant University Center.

Blane, who studied performance and songwriting at the Berklee College of Music, has a musical background of jazz piano, classical violin and rock guitar. Blane has two albums out, In the Meantime, which has sold more than 3,000 copies, and a new album, Clockwork.

Insite magazine said of Blaine's first CD, “A close inspection of Blane's In the Meantime disc unearths a deeply talented musician and honest lyricist.”

Since the release of his first CD, Blane has been touring colleges and clubs. “I get such a thrill thinking that people in the audience probably worked a long week and have their own problems to deal with, but they came to a show because they knew they'd have fun and be able to step outside their own world for a little while.”
