In Memoriam
May 26, 2006--Thomas Whitney Jr., 24, of Howell, N.J., died Sunday, May 21, at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Mr. Whitney received his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Delaware in January 2004, and while at UD, he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He was a financial analyst for Prudential Financial in Newark,N.J., for two years. He also worked for the Asbury Park Press as an accountant. Born in Staten Island, Mr. Whitney lived there before moving to Howell 20 years ago. He was graduated from Monsignor Donovan High School in nearby Toms River, N.J., in 1999. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Kathleen Whitney of Howell; a sister, Kaitlin Whitney of Howell; and his maternal grandmother, Patricia Nasella of Staten Island. Funeral services were held May 26. |
