Geraldine G. Moody
 

March 24, 2006--Geraldine Green Moody, 68, of Berlin, Md., and Hayesville, N.C., died Friday, March 17, at her home in Hayesville.

A native of Corinth, N.Y., she lived most of her life in Newark. She worked for the University of Delaware for 10 years and later was an elementary schoolteacher.

She was a member of the Questers, an avid bridge player and tennis player.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William B. Moody, professor emeritus of education at UD; a daughter, Kathy DeFoe, coordinator in UD's School of Education; two sons, Bill M. Moody and David Moody, both of Hayesville; two sisters, Audrey Green of Corinth, N.Y., and Eileen Howe, of Pennington, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p .m., Saturday, April 8, at the Hilton Resort, 100 Continental Drive in Newark. For more information, contact [KLDEFOE@udel.edu].
