Blue & Gold Club book club meets Feb. 7

Bonnie Moxley Maxwell of Greenville, a graduate of UD’s Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program, wrote her master’s thesis on the larger-than-life career of actress Katharine Hepburn.
3:39 p.m., Jan. 31, 2006--In conjunction with its 35th anniversary celebration, UD’s Blue & Gold Club is initiating a book club for its members, beginning with a discussion of Hepburn Redux: Rethinking the Myth at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Bonnie Moxley Maxwell, a Greenville graduate of UD’s Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program, will lead the discussion of her thesis on actress Katharine Hepburn.

The book discussion group, free to club members, will meet in the club tavern. A reception will follow, where brownies made from Hepburn’s favorite recipe will be served. Members who stay for dinner after the reception will get a free appetizer and half-price nachos.
