Greenberg, Schwartz lead UD men's tennis

10:39 a.m., Feb. 20, 2006--Freshman Nolan Greenberg and sophomore Jason Schwartz each went 3-0 to lead the University of Delaware men's tennis team against the host College of New Jersey on Sunday afternoon. The Fightin' Blue Hens opened the spring season by winning 10 of 19 events.

Greenberg defeated Roger Mosteller in Flight B singles and teamed with Jesse Carl to defeat Ryan Carty and Corey Ball and Mosteller and Mike Klimchak in Flight A singles. Schwartz defeated Justin Cook in Flight C singles and teamed with Philip Wayne for a victory over Eric Ferriere and Matt Hiznay in Flight B doubles and with Josh Levine for a victory over Will Daly and James Vance in Flight B doubles.

Also for Delaware, Zach Chafitz defeated Hiznay in Flight D singles and teamed with Amit Kapur for a victory over Daly and Vance in Flight B doubles. Kapur also defeated Daly in Flight D singles. Adam Liebman topped Klimchak in Flight A singles.
