UDMart enhancements 8:59 a.m., Dec. 13, 2005--Starting Wednesday, Dec. 14, users of the University's award-winning UDMart system will know immediately the exact cost of an item and if its in stock, as well as enjoy enhanced security and accuracy with OfficeMax orders. University programmers have been working with OfficeMax, the University's office supply provider, to add real-time pricing and stock information to the UDMart system. With the upgrade, when a UDMart user puts an OfficeMax item in a shopping cart, using either the online catalog or the blank order form, the user will see the correct University contract price for the item, if the item is in stock or on backorder and see a picture of the item, if a photo is available. To access UDMart visit [www.udel.edu/udmart]. Additionally, orders now will be transmitted to OfficeMax electronically, allowing for enhanced security and eliminating data-entry errors. All members of the University community with a Procurement Card are eligible to use UDMart. The UDMart system provides a one-stop-shopping experience for cardholders, allowing them to purchase common items in a single order. Procurement Services will be offering training sessions on the UDMart system after the winter break.
