Linguistics symposium at UD April 21-23

4:19 p.m., April 18, 2006--An international symposium on Malay/Indonesian linguistics will be held at UD this Friday-Sunday, April 21-23. The event will feature lectures on a variety of topics, including historical linguistics, syntax, dialects and Malay/Indonesian in typological perspective.

Sponsored by UD, the Max Plank Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, the Association for Linguistic Typology and Yale University, the event will draw attendees from all over the world.
