Freshman to appear on NBC's 'Deal or No Deal'

Ashlee Greenwell

6:09 p.m., April 11, 2006--Ashlee Greenwell, a UD freshman and Miss Delaware USA, is scheduled to appear on NBC-TV's Deal or No Deal at 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 12.

Greenwell will be featured on a special “Miss USA” episode of the game show, where she will assist as one of the 26 suitcase spokes models.

Also this month, Greenwell will appear on NBC to compete in the 54th annual Miss USA pageant. The pageant features 51 contestants, representing each state and the District of Columbia, competing in events such as personal interview, evening gown and swimsuit. The competition will be broadcast live from Baltimore at 9 p.m., Friday, April 21.

Should Greenwell win the title of Miss USA, she would be the first Delaware delegate since 1999 to win a national title.
