Mother's Day brunch May 14 at UD hotel

3:54 p.m., April 27, 2006--The Courtyard Newark-University of Delaware hotel is preparing a special Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day, which will be served from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday, May 14, in the Marriott Center for Hospitality and Tourism, just off the hotel lobby.

The extensive menu features such favorites as made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, breakfast meats, carved top round of beef, “peel and eat” shrimp, chicken Piccata and broiled tilapia, plus assorted salads and breakfast pastries. A large selection of delectable desserts, including pies, cakes and homemade mousses, tops off the buffet brunch.

In addition, all mothers will receive a complimentary long-stemmed rose from the staff.

The cost is $24.95 for adults and $10.95 for children ages 6-13, with no charge for children under 6.
