Salzburg Seminar deadline Nov. 5

3:54 p.m., Oct. 22, 2004--The deadline for the submission of proposals for the 2005 Salzburg Seminar is Friday, Nov. 5.

Held each year in Austria, the Salzburg Seminar draws hundreds of scholars, business leaders, diplomats, politicians and judges for weeklong sessions that explore timely international and academic issues ranging from human rights to biotechnology. Each intensive, seven-day session is led by distinguished faculty and brings together 50 to 60 mid-career professionals from around the world.

UD has enjoyed a special relationship with the Salzburg Seminar for more than 25 years, and two fellow slots are reserved annually for UD faculty.

For more information, including instructions for application and a list of Seminar sessions, visit [www.international.udel.edu/projects/salzburg], or call (302) 831-8527.
