Advanced strength-training talk set Sept. 29

2:57 p.m., Sept. 8, 2004--UD’s Employee Wellness Center is offering a lecture on advanced strength-training for seasoned exercisers who have been lifting weights for at least three months.

The talk, by Employee Wellness Center graduate assistant Brian Rahmer is set for noon-12:55 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, in 206 Alison Hall West. Cost of the lecture is 10 Wellness Dollars. A $25 gift certificate to Simply Pasta in Newark will be given away as a door prize.

The program includes an interactive lecture-demonstration on how to use the principles of variety, intensity and progression, plus home handouts with workout ideas for home or the gym and training guidelines.
