Routes 72 and 896 undergoing nighttime paving

10:13 a.m., Aug. 9, 2004--The Delaware Department of Transportation advises motorists that South Chapel Street/Route 72 between Old Baltimore Pike and Pencader Plaza and South College Avenue/Route 896 from just east of Interstate 95 to the entrance to the Bob Carpenter Center will both have intermittent lane restrictions during nighttime hours through Friday, Aug. 27.

Specifically, both roads will be restricted from 8 p.m.-5:30 a.m. each night.

South Chapel Road will be under construction from Monday, Aug. 9, through Friday, Aug. 27.

Likewise, South College Avenue, where work began Aug. 1, will remain under construction through Friday, Aug. 20.
