UD discount tickets to motor sports events 9:45 a.m., Jan. 7, 2005--Tickets for the IFMA Freestyle Motocross and the U.S. Hot Rod Monster Jam at the Wachovia Complex in Philadelphia are available at a discounted price for UD faculty, staff and students. The top motocross riders in the country will compete at 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 14, and 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15. UD community members can purchase tickets for gold circle seats (normally $27) for $25 and regular seat tickets (normally $25) at $19 for adults and $5 for children 2-12. In February, the monster jam will feature a variety of events including Marvel Comics Monster Trucks, Pro Stadium Trucks, Quad and Cycle Wars, fire-breathing robots and drag racing. Discount tickets are available for performances set for 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18, and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 19. Gold circle seats (normally $27) are discounted to $25 for members of the UD community and to $14 for adults for regular seat tickets (normally $22) and $5 for children 2-12.
