High winds expected to continue into Friday 6:15 p.m., Nov. 13, 2003--A high wind warning remains in effect for New Castle County until midnight, Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. Strong winds, with gusts up to 60 mph, are expected to continue throughout Thursday evening. According to the weather service, the wind should diminish slightly around midnight, and the high wind warning may be downgraded to an advisory then.
