Dietary supplements focus of Feb. 16 lecture

4:47 p.m., Jan. 28, 2004--“Dietary Supplements—The Real Deal, or Too Good to be True?” will be the topic of a lecture by Nancy Cotugna, professor of nutrition and dietetics and nationally known expert in the field of nutrition quackery, from 12:05­12:55 p.m., Monday, Feb. 16, in 202 Old College. Cotugna will discuss how supplements are regulated and how consumers can make wise decisions about their use.

The lunchtime lecture is sponsored by UD’s Employee Wellness Center. All those attending will be eligible for a drawing for a one-year membership at the Delaware Museum of Natural History.
