Season football tickets available for Delaware Diamonds

11:28 a.m., March 25, 2004--The University of Delaware is thanking members of the Delaware Diamonds Society, those loyal and dedicated alumni and friends who donate $1,000 or more annually in support of the University’s academic and athletic programs, by offering them preference when ordering premium seating and parking for 2004 Fightin’ Blue Hens home football games.

Delaware Diamonds who do not currently have tickets and parking are invited to purchase them by calling 831-2257 by Friday, March 26. Diamonds who already have season tickets and parking and do not wish to make changes do not need to call. The exact placement of tickets and parking is always at the discretion of the athletics department.

Next season, the Hens will take on New Hampshire, Thursday, Sept. 2, followed by home games in Delaware Stadium against Towson, West Chester, Maine, William & Mary and Villanova.

In 2003, the Fightin’ Blue Hens won the Atlantic 10 title, the NCAA l-AA National Championship, the Lambert Cup Trophy and ECAC Team of the Year award, making it one of the most successful and exciting years in UD football history.
