Blue Hen tennis teams gain split at Bucknell

9:45 a.m., Sept.30, 2003--The University of Delaware tennis team split a pair of matches on Sunday afternoon at Bucknell University, with the UD men winning 4-3 and the women losing 6-1.

In the men’s match, Delaware got singles victories from John Tully at No. 1, Sanjay Khindri at No. 2, Adam Liebman at No. 3 and Mike Riisen at No. 4. Tully ran his record on the fall season to 5-0 with his victory.

Bucknell swept the three doubles matches.

In the women’s event, Delaware captured its only victory at No. 2 singles, where freshman Elizabeth Perlow won 6-2, 6-4 over Bucknell’s Tanya Sichko.
