Registration for summer sessions under way 1:39 p.m., April 6, 2004--The University of Delaware is now registering students for summer sessions online and at the Student Services Building. Courses are filled on a first-come, first-served, basis, and summer class schedules are issued at time of registration. First summer session classes begin Monday, June 7, ending Saturday, July 10, and a seven-and-a-half-week session runs from June 7 through Thursday, July 29. A second five-week session begins Monday, July 12, and ends Friday, Aug. 13. Most classes in the five-week session meet for 90 minutes, Monday-Friday. Most classes during the seven-and-a-half-week session meet twice a week for three hours, most often in the evening. Distance learning classes are also being offered during summer session. These classes are delivered online and via CD or videotape. Students complete distance learning coursework off campus at their convenience within the seven-and-a-half-week session.
