State bonus plan clarified 1:13 p.m., June 18, 2004--An e-mail message was sent today to all University employees from Maxine R. Colm, vice president for administration, to clarify the state bonus plan. Following is the text of her message: The state-approved bonus has become an issue. The facts related to the issue are two in number: (1.) The State Budget Office earlier issued the instruction that the intent was "to provide a salary supplement (the bonus) for all employees who did not receive a raise" in Fiscal Year 2004. (2.) On June 17, Gov. Minner stated and certain legislators agreed that the "money was...intended to be used as bonuses for University employees." To learn how to subscribe to UDaily, click here. |
