UD mens soccer prepares for nationally ranked foes
9:40 a.m., Oct. 27, 2003--The University of Delaware mens soccer team enters its most difficult stretch of the season after a 2-0 loss to Colonial Athletic Association rival Towson University on Sunday.

The Fightin Blue Hens must play two weekend games against CAA teams that are nationally ranked.
UD will host the College of William & Mary, which is ranked No. 24 in NCAA Division I, at 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24, at the Delaware Mini-Stadium.
The Hens will then travel to Old Dominion University, which is ranked No. 2, for a game at 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25.
On Sunday, Towson opened the scoring in the first half on a goal by Steve Fell at 30:48. The Tigers sealed the victory with a second-half score by Shawn Conley at 64:55.
UD junior goalkeeper Kyle Haynes had six saves.
The victory was the first of the season for Towson, which is 1-9-3 overall and 1-2-2 in conference. UD fell to 3-7-5 overall and 0-3-2 in conference.
