Newark Police investigate June 13 robbery

11:43 a.m., June 14, 2004--Newark Police are investigating the robbery of an 18-year-old Newark man that occurred around 12:45 a.m., Sunday, June 13, in the area of Dallam Road and Bent Lane in Newark.

The man was walking home to his residence when two or three men hit him from behind and knocked him to the ground. They removed an undisclosed amount of money from his wallet and fled. The victim was not hurt.
