Student robbed on East Main Street April 14

11:03 a.m., April 14, 2004--Newark Police are investigating the robbery of a 21-year-old UD student that occurred around 1;15 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, on East Main Street.

The student was assaulted by three men, 19-22 years of age, while walking and talking on his cell phone in the vicinity of the Newark Shopping Center. After assaulting him, the suspects removed his wallet and fled the area. The student did not require medical treatment.
