Honors and Awards

Carolyn K. Manning, associate professor of nutrition and dietetics, was selected to attend the American Dietetic Association’s invitation-only leadership institute, Feb. 19-22, Tucson, Ariz.

Ben Yagoda, professor of English, was honored by the governor of Oklahoma, who declared Feb. 22 to be “Ben Yagoda Appreciation Day” in recognition of the UD faculty member’s research on Will Rogers, which resulted in a 1993 biography of the American humorist.
