Information on critical Microsoft updates at IT Help Center 10:35 a.m., Feb. 11, 2004--Information on new critical updates for Microsoft has been added to the IT Help Center web site at [http://www.udel.edu/help], and IT advises campus computer users to install these updates immediately. The updates address newly discovered issues in Microsoft Windows, including Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac. The Microsoft site is busy, and users should keep trying to connect. All computers configured to receive updates from Microsoft automatically will be patched once their owners have installed the updates, and directions on how to receive these updates automatically are available at [http://www.udel.edu/topics/windowsxp/XPupdate.html].
