Oct. 14, 2003--Maurice Rouselle III, 72, former manager of employee relations at UD, died at home on Monday, Sept. 8.

A 1953 graduate of Morgan State College (now Morgan State University) with a degree in psychology, he served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of second lieutenant.

Early in his career, he was a social worker in the Department of Health and Social Services and later served as director of personnel for the city of Wilmington, before becoming manager of employee relations at UD. He also worked for years as an investigator and later as acting director of the Anti-Discrimination Section of the state of Delaware Department of Labor.
