8 a.m., Jan. 12, 2004--UD’s Morris Library will be open from noon-10 p.m, Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 19, although the University will be closed. The agriculture, chemistry, marine studies and physics libraries will be closed.

At the Morris Library, not all service desks will be open, some service desks may have reduced hours and Special Collections and the Exhibition Gallery will be closed.

“Experience shows that the Morris Library is heavily used on Martin Luther King Day, even though no classes are given,” Susan Brynteson, May Morris Director of Libraries, said. “We are trying to meet the needs of library users.”
