CAA recognizes Stille’s record-setting performances

UD’s Mandy Stille
9:27 a.m., April 2, 2004--University of Delaware freshman Mandy Stille has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Co-Athlete of the Week for women’s outdoor track and field.

Stille was honored along with George Mason University junior Sheena Davidson and James Madison University sophomore Shannon Saunders.

Stille was recognized for her performance at the University of Florida Relays during which she set two long-standing UD records in the heptathlon and the 100-meter hurdles.

She scored 4,696 points in the heptathlon, breaking the school record of 3,684 set by Linda Mullaney in 1984, and ran 14.71 in the hurdles, breaking the record of 14.79 set by Sheryl Hall in 1994.
