Online searching workshop set April 6 3:45 p.m., March 30, 2004--A workshop on online searching strategies is set for 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, in the Sussman Room at the Morris Library. The workshop will give participants research techniques that ensure better results when searching licensed databases, and tips will include learning the difference between keywords and controlled vocabulary, using logic in search word construction, limiting search results and finding online help. The free workshop is open to anyone with a valid University ID card, but preregistration is required. Interested participants should register by 5 p.m., Monday, April 5, by calling 831-6949.
