Noted author at Academy of Lifelong Learning Friday

2:34 p.m., May 4, 2004--Gerald Posner, acclaimed author of The New York Times bestseller “Why America Slept: The Failure to Prevent 9/11,” will speak from 1-2:30 p.m., Friday, May 7, in Arsht Hall, on the Wilmington campus. Posner’s other books include “Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK,” “Killing the Dream: James Ray and the Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.,” “Citizen Perot: His Life and Times,” “Warlords of Crime: The New Mafia” and other nonfiction works.

Free and open to the public, Posner’s talk is part of the “Meet the Author: The Art of Fiction and NonFiction” lecture series, sponsored by the Academy of Lifelong Learning, the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program and the Division of Professional and Continuing Studies.
