Kanye West and Young Gunz tickets on sale

Hip-hop artist Kanye West
8:17 a.m., April 12, 2004--Hip-hop artist Kanye West will perform with Young Gunz at 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, in the Bob Carpenter Center. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Cultural Programming Advisory Board.

Roc-a-Fella recording artist Kanye West’s debut album, “The College Dropout,” has been a commercial and a critical success. West also has produced works for several hip-hop artists, including Jay-Z, Scarface, Trina, Knoc Turn’al and Talib Kweli.

Fellow Rock-a-Fella artists from the Nice Town section of Philadelphia Young Gunz include Young Chris (born Chris Ries) and Neef (born Hanif Muhammad). Their debut album “Tough Luv” was released this year.

Tickets—on sale now for the UD community and on sale April 14 for the general public—are $22 in advance for UD students, faculty and staff with a UD ID and $27 for the general public. Tickets at the door are $25 for UD students, faculty and staff with UD ID, and $30 for the general public. UD students, faculty and staff may purchase up to four tickets, including two tickets at $22.
