Comedian Jim Norton to perform at UD

11:30 a.m., March 19, 2004--Comedian Jim Norton of "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and the “Opie and Anthony” show will perform stand-up comedy at 8:30 p.m., Monday, April 19, in Trabant University Center, on the University of Delaware’s Newark campus.

Norton, who recently toured Iraq as part of Colin Quinn's USO tour entertaining American troops, is known nationwide for his frank sense of humor and a blunt style honed in New York City comedy clubs.

The show, sponsored by the Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB), will be in the Trabant Multipurpose Room. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the University box offices for $5 with UD student ID and $10 for others. The tickets also are available online at [http://www.ticketmaster.com] where a service charge may apply.
