Ex-Hen Iversen wins SEABL recognition

1:21 p.m., April 26, 2004--Former University of Delaware basketball star Ryan Iversen was named the South East Australian Basketball League Player of the Week after a 59-point outburst in a Knox Raiders victory April 17.

In that game, the Raiders defeated the Geelong Supercats 118-111. Iversen’s total was the fifth highest in Knox history and just nine short of the team record set in 1995.

Iversen followed that performance with 34 points in a 113-98 victory over Hobart on April 23. He also had five rebounds and five assists.

The Raiders are 9-2 and stand in second place in the league’s South division.
