Redding Chair for the Study of Law and Public Policy, was quoted in a May 19 Philadelphia Inquirer story on the 50th anniversary of Brown vs. Board of Education and the road to integration. James Butkiewicz, professor of economics, was quoted in a May 19 WPVI-TV news report on rising gasoline prices and a call for a consumer boycott. "The boycott's really not going to have any significant effect on energy prices,” Butkiewicz said. “Energy prices are determined by supply and demand... right now we have strong demand globally and we have some supply shortages."

Derby Walker, instructor in entomology and applied ecology, was quoted in a May 19 Wilmington News Journal story on the coming of cicadas.

Kenneth Campbell, associate professor of political science and international relations, was quoted in a May 17 Philadelphia Inquirer story about how the quagmire in Iraq is threatening the presidency of George W. People don't want to sit around and wait for 20,000 lives to be lost,” Campbell said, “particularly now that we've lost the moral high ground [because of the abuse scandal]. If morality is not on your side, it disempowers you."

John Antil, associate professor of business administration, was quoted in a May 17 Inman News story about stadium naming rights and the change in name of the Texas Rangers stadium from the Ballpark in Arlington to Ameriquest Field.
