Charles Elson, Edgar S. Woolard Jr. Chair and director of the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance, is quoted in a Feb. 6 San Jose Mercury News story about increasing pressure brought to bear on PeopleSoft by Oracle in its takeover bid. "There's a lot of pressure on the board right now," Elson said, adding, "This is a big game of chicken on all sides."

David Legates, director of the Center for Climatic Research, is quoted in a Feb. 6 Wilmington News Journal story on today's rain storm.

Sunil Agrawal, professor of mechanical engineering, is featured in the Feb. 4 Electronics Weekly for his work in developing small robots that mimic the flight of birds and insects.
