Dances of India competition set April 17

2:02 p.m., April 15, 2004--The Indian Students Association (ISA) is sponsoring the Maqabala 2004 Dance Competition at 5 p.m., April 17, in the auditorium of Christiana High School, 190 Salem Church Rd.

The event is open to the public, and tickets, which may be purchased from ISA board members, are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Natraj, a women’s dance group at UD, will participate, along with ensembles from other colleges, such as Villanova and George Washington universities and the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. Competitions will be held in solo and group dances, according to ISA president Aarti Mahtani.
