Bring your appetite to the victory celebration

10:57 a.m., Feb. 6, 2004--There’ll be plenty of food and championship merchandise at The Bob at UD’s Tuesday evening, Feb. 10, celebration for its championship football team.

The party officially begins at 7 p.m., at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center, but doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and a wide range of food and national championship souvenirs will be available for fans.

Students are being encouraged to arrive early and eat dinner at The Bob using their Dining Services points or Flex.

The menu includes smoked kielbasa, meatball sandwiches, hot dogs, foot-long hot dogs, pizza, soft pretzels, nachos, candy, popcorn, cookies, brownies, bottled water and fountain soda.

Also available will be smoked beef, smoked turkey, smoked pork, Virginia baked ham, rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, six different salads and a cart featuring quarter-pound hot dogs and Italian sausage with all the toppings.

The Bookstore will operate locations in the lobby and on the Concourse selling a wide range of national championship items, including hats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, banners, pennants and footballs.
