Man cut in fight on East Main St. May 20

5:36 p.m., May 20, 2004--Two young men, neither of them UD students, got into a fight and one of them was cut around 1:49 a.m., Thursday, May 20, in the parking lot of 280 East Main St. The two men knew each other from a previous encounter.

During the fight, the victim sustained a deep laceration to his left hand, and he was taken to the Christiana Emergency Room where he was treated.

Newark Police arrested Harry F. Dillworth and charged him with first degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony. He was arraigned and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution in default of $20,000 secured bail.
