Dining Services launches delivery for employees

3:48 p.m., Jan. 16, 2004--UD employees too busy to leave their desks at lunchtime needn’t rely on brown-bag standbys during Winter Session. Following the success of the wildly popular delivery service for students, Dining Services has launched a sister program, on a trial basis, for employees through Feb. 6.

Faculty and staff interested in office delivery can now place orders Monday through Friday by sending an e-mail by 10 a.m. on the day of delivery to: [trabantfoodcourt@udel.edu].

According to Frank Costantino, Dining Services marketing assistant, “We’re offering this because a lot of faculty and staff like the food we offer but don’t like to fight the crowds and cold.”

All orders must include the name of the person ordering, the desired time of delivery (between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.), the delivery address, the phone extension and the form of payment.

Menu items include all selections offered on the standard delivery menu, which can be accessed online at [http://www.udel.edu/dining/delivery/].

Accepted forms of payment include cash, points, Flex dollars and credit cards. Minimum orders are $5, and all orders are subject to a $1 delivery charge.

For more information on this service, call 831-3224.
