Newark Police investigate robbery of pizza delivery person Jan. 27

9:53 a.m., Jan. 28, 2004--Newark Police are investigating the robbery of a pizza delivery person that occurred around 6:35 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27, on Madison Drive. The delivery person is a UD student.

The delivery person was walking through an alley to the rear of the residence when he was approached by four teenage boys, about 13 to 15 years old. The suspects then fled on foot in different directions. The delivery person was not harmed.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Paul Keld at 366-7110, ext. 136, the Newark Police Department at 366-7111 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
