Students robbed Oct. 10 at Russell parking lot

8:22 a.m., Oct. 13, 2003--A group that included two UD students was robbed by three men, one of whom had a gun, around 9:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10, in the Russell parking lot off Academy Street.

The students from UD and Delaware Technical and Community College were approached by the three men, and one displayed an automatic handgun. The men demanded money and got $50-$60 from the students before fleeing eastward on foot. No one was injured.

University Police are investigating the robbery. Anyone with information should contact Cpl. John Haug in University Police at 831-2683.
