Spring craft show March 27-28 at The Bob

2:20 p.m., March 19, 2004--Celebrate the end of winter by checking out the annual spring craft show from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, March 27, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, March 28, at the Bob Carpenter Center.

More than 140 artisans from several states will be located on both floors of The Bob, displaying thousands of handcrafted items ranging from Victorian, country and folk art to modern and contemporary crafts.

Besides a wide array of woodcuts, carvings and stencil art pictures, the show will feature handcrafted furniture decorated with hand-painted designs. Other items include jewelry made from various precious and semiprecious gems, hand-sewn clothing, quilts, crocheted afghans, dried floral arrangements and wreaths.

Homemade candles and herbal vinegar will be available, along with handcrafted toys, ceramics, stained glass window ornaments and etched glass art objects.

Admission is $4 for adults, and children 12 and under are admitted free.

For more information, call (717) 656-3208 or visit [www.handcraft-unlimited.com].
