End-of-semester computer shutdown instructions

10:28 a.m., May 25, 2004--Students, faculty and staff leaving campus for the summer can find important online instructions on disconnecting computer equipment and redirecting e-mail and voicemail by visiting [www.udel.edu/help/Breaks].

The UD-managed site gives step-by-step instructions on the proper protocol to use when leaving campus permanently or temporarily and offers tips for graduating seniors on how to stay connected after Commencement.

To ensure that no important data, e-mail or voicemail messages are lost, all UD students and staff planning to leave for the summer or any extended period of time are encouraged to follow the detailed online instructions.
