CHEP offers open house Dec. 5

3:33 p.m., Nov. 25, 2003--An open house for students interested in pursuing master’s degrees in public policy and public administration will be held by the College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy (CHEP) Friday, Dec. 5.

Scheduled from 9-10:30 a.m. and 1:30-3 p.m., the information-gathering event will take place in Room 106 of the Center for Composite Materials at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Academy Street.

Besides learning about CHEP’s master of public administration and master of arts in urban affairs and public policy programs, students also can learn what admission credentials they need and how they can apply for a portion of the $2.5 million in financial assistance that is awarded through the school each year. Information on internship opportunities also will be available at the open house, as will information on careers pursued by past graduates.

Interested students should register their intention of attending the open house by calling 831-1687 or by e-mailing [suapp@udel.edu]. For more information on CHEP’s School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy graduate programs and the Dec. 5 open house, visit [www.udel.edu/suapp].
