National championship gear available online

10:24 a.m., Dec. 23, 2003--The NCAA Division I-AA national football champion Fightin’ Blue Hens are hitting cyberspace.

Shoppers interested in purchasing national championship gear online can now do so through the University Bookstores, which is offering short- and long-sleeved T-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, caps and banners.

“We’ve been getting a ton of online orders,” Cosmo Olivieri, UD Bookstore general manager, said Tuesday.

To order items, go to the University Bookstores web site at [http://udel.bkstore.com/] and click on the icon for merchandise and general books. The merchandise section has a button in the shop-by-product category box, found on the left side of the page, marked National Champions. Click that for the complete catalog of national championship products.
