2004 engagement calendars available at UD Bookstore
2:50 p.m., Dec. 1, 2003-- UD fans eager to get a jump on the new year, the 2004 engagement calendars are now available in the University Bookstore at the Perkins Student Center.
Graced with more than 104 full-page and inset color photographs of campus gardens, grounds and landscapes, the desk calendars offer a week-at-a-glance format and ample note-taking space for each day.
The calendars, which are priced at $18.99, also include a quick reference guide of commonly used University resources, as well as a page for users to enter their own frequently called contacts. Barbara Broge, assistant director of creative services in the Office of Public Relations, designed the calendar, which features photographs by a number of UD and area photographers. UD’s Graphic Communications Center printed the publication.
Calendars may also be purchased online, while supplies last, by visiting [www.udel.edu/bookstore].
Among the first to receive the new calendar, presented by President David P. Roselle in recognition of their valued contributions to campus beauty, were staff members from Facilities, who are formally acknowledged in the calendar for designing and maintaining campus gardens, grounds and landscapes.
