Kathleen Bennett
 

June 25, 2004--Kathleen Bennett, 78, of Newark, died June 16 at Christiana Hospital.

Mrs. Bennett retired in 1991 as records clerk in UD’s admissions office.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the church altar society and volunteered for the Emmanuel Dining Room and the Hope Dining Room.

Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Leisure Group, the Newark Senior Center, Chucks Travel Group and the Home Dem Club.

She is survived by her sons, Mark A. Bennett of Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., and James F. Bennett and his wife, Karen, of Newark; and her daughters, Kathleen B. Snyder and her husband, Jeff, of Newark, Susan B. Thornley and her husband, Douglas, of Wilmington, and Mary Jane B. Hudson and her husband, Peter, of Newark. She is also survived by her brother, Patrick J. Coakley of Dayton, N.J.; her sisters, Anne Flynn of Bayonne, N.J., and Mary Murphy of Toms River, N.J., and six grandchildren.
