Nonstudent sexually assaulted at party

6:16 p.m., March 29, 2004--On Thursday, March 25, a 20-year-old woman who is not a UD student reported to authorities that she had been sexually assaulted while at a house party in the 100 block of Wilbur Street. She was treated for minor injuries at Christiana Hospital and released.

Newark Police are investigating and have a first name and description of the suspect.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det. Paul Keld in the Newark Police Department at 366-7110, ext. 136, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, where information can be left anonymously.
