UD MBA program celebrates 50th anniversary The event will be the highlight of a series of activities throughout this academic year that have celebrated the programs longevity, its quality and growth, the continuous changes to remain contemporary and the professional success of alumni. Hundreds of the programs alumni and guests are expected to join the celebration, which will begin with a reception from 6:309 p.m., Thursday, March 25, in the Chaplin Tyler Atrium. Festivities will continue with an alumni brunch and networking forum from 10 a.m.-noon, Friday, March 26, in Lerner Hall, followed by a walking campus tour. Among the alumni and VIPs planning to attend the celebration are Charles Anderson, 03, CEO, United Way of the National Capital Area; U.S. Sen. Thomas Carper, 75; Charles Carroll, president and CEO, W.L. Gore & Associates; Howard Cosgrove, 70, retired chairman and CEO of Conectiv and chairman of UDs Board of Trustees; Kevin Finn, 02, owner, Iron Hill Brewery; Bruce Hammonds, president and CEO, MBNA America; and Leonard Quill, 65, retired chairman and CEO, Wilmington Trust Co.
