Piano recital to benefit Men's Crew Club

1:20 p.m., April 16, 2003--UD’s Men’s Crew Club will present a classical improvisation piano recital by renowned Olympic rower and pianist Kevin Cotter from 4-7 p.m., Sunday, April 27, in Bayard Sharp Hall. Along with the recital, there will be a silent auction to benefit the rowing club, with refreshments served.

Cotter, who has released two CDs, “Winter Solstice” and “The Fortunate Fall,” recently performed for New Jersey Gov. James McGreevey.

Besides being an acclaimed piano player, Cotter competed on the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team in 1996 and 2000 and won the world championship in 1999.

Black tie is optional, and seating is limited to 150 persons. Tickets are $100 and may purchased at the door if space is available.Valet parking also will be provided. For more information, call John Williams at 575-0873.
