UD dance team takes second, mascot and cheerleaders place eighth, at nationals
 

9:55 a.m., Jan. 14, 2003-- University of Delaware dance team placed second in Division I, and cheerleaders placed eighth in Division I and UD's mascot YoUDee took eighth nationally at the College National Championships held at Disney World last weekend. The dance team took second in a field of 14 teams in its division that made it to the final round. First place winner in dance in Division I was Cal State Fullerton.

Aubie, from the University of Auburn, came in first in the mascot event, and cheerleaders from Morehead State University took the top spot for cheerleaders in Division I.
